We know that many people are anxious about dental treatment. Rest assured that we comfortably treat anxious people every day. You may be pleasantly surprised to know that new techniques and medications can virtually eliminate discomfort.

- Audio entertainment (feel free to bring your iPod)
- Pre-operative oral sedatives

Children
We welcome children to our office and we make their visits as gentle and fun as possible. Exposing children to regular preventive care makes going to the dentist like second nature to both the child and the parent. With a little cooperation, we can accomplish most of their necessary dental care.
Infection Control
"Universal Precautions" - these are the Standards necessary to ensure your safety and protection while receiving care in our office. Some examples of what we do for you include:
- Disposable supplies whenever possible
- Initial preparation of the instruments using an automated disinfector
- Heat/steam sterilization for all instruments
- Repeated testing of the sterilizer
Endodontics
Root canal. Those two words strike fear in the hearts of most patients. Contrary to all the old jokes, however, the only serious pain you may experience in connection with a root canal is in putting off the procedure. Root canal therapy actually relieves the pressure and pain you may have been experiencing for weeks. The pain is in response to an infection of the nerve, or pulp of a tooth root. A root canal limits the infection and actually saves the tooth, and that's really good news. So if you need a root canal, never fear ... you're in good hands with our team!
